Information created by using the account
We store balances, deposits, withdrawals, escrow status changes, and the dates those events happen. We also store whether identity verification and the bank connection are not started, in progress, verified, or rejected. Bank account numbers are handled on Melio when you connect a payment method. This platform stores the connection status, not your bank password.
How it is used
We use this information to create the account, show your dashboard, review KYC and financing applications, hold and settle escrow, send platform email, and investigate suspicious activity. Staff with an admin login can see the records required for those reviews.
Who else sees it
We do not sell personal information. Identity files are available to you and to administrators reviewing the submission. Payment-method linking happens on Melio under their own terms. If the chat widget on the public site is enabled, that conversation is handled by the chat provider, not stored as part of your financing file.
Retention and security
Account, transaction, and escrow records stay for as long as the account exists and as needed for the reviews described above. Passwords are stored as hashes. Uploaded documents are kept on the server and are not meant to be public. No method of storage is perfect. Use a unique password and contact us if you believe the account was accessed without permission.
Your choices
You can update your name, phone, and password in dashboard settings. You can ask us to correct account details by emailing support@jptrustfinancing.io. Some records, including completed transactions and funded escrow history, are kept so the balance and the hold remain explainable.
